Led by Jude Bedel, a seasoned professional and advocate with a successful track record, our studio fosters equity and inclusivity across the classical music industry and beyond.
Jude's journey began in the early 2000s at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Washington National Opera under the leadership of Plácido Domingo, where she refined her skills in major gift solicitation, annual fund management, and event planning. Her tenure at these institutions laid the foundation for understanding the arts sector's disparities. It propelled her into significant roles, including pivotal campaigns at the Arizona Opera and the New England Conservatory.
The global pandemic marked a critical point in Jude's career, leading her to found Jude Bedel Consulting Studio in 2020. This initiative was driven by the urgent need to support arts and social sector organizations facing widespread layoffs and closures due to economic strains. The studio offers strategic, innovative, and equitable fundraising solutions to ensure the sustainability and growth of these vital entities.
